Embroidered shirt “Lesya”

About a friend, lover, wife, writer, and daughter. We tell the story of Lesya Ukrainka's real life in our new autumn collection.

The milk-colored shirt features voluminous sleeves and a textured collar. It also has ornaments that preserve special stories. 

Lesya affectionately called her sister Izidora “Gusma,” and she left her initials in friendly letters to Olga Kobylianska.

We embroidered ivy because Lesya Ukrainka compared herself to it. And the “seven strings” are a reminder of the title of her collection of the same name. 

To remember Lesya's extraordinary style, we left a pattern from her handbag. To remember the legendary — contra spem spero!

Composition: 30% linen, 70% viscose.

Care: wash at t = 30˚C, delicate spin cycle. Do not tumble dry.
